Auditions

The Capital Wind Symphony attracts many of the region’s finest musicians and welcomes new players each season by audition.  Accepted members  must agree to the weekly rehearsals held on Monday evenings, except holidays, at Longfellow Middle School, 2000 Westmoreland St, Falls Church, VA 22043,  as well as the concerts.  The ensemble is an all-volunteer ensemble.  Details Here.

The audition date for the upcoming 2017-2018 season is the evening of Monday, September 11, 2017 

Interested players should send a resume HERE along with an audio sample of your playing.  An email attachment or a  simple link to an unlisted or private post on youtube, vimeo, etc will work.  Qualified players will be invited to perform the excerpts listed below on September 6 by appointment only.
