The Capital Wind Symphony invites you to choose your side in “Heroes and Villains”  — an electrifying concert adventure where the forces of good and evil collide in the ultimate symphonic showdown!

Designed to honor our nation’s veterans and fallen heroes through musical tribute, this grand concert will feature 200 singers representing choirs from throughout the United States as they join with the Capital Wind Symphony to foster greater attention toward and observe the true meaning of Memorial Day as a National Holiday.

Experience a one-of-a-kind fusion of DC’s premier The Bob Band “The Ultimate Bob Dylan Tribute Band” with the Capital Wind Symphony Chamber Winds playing John Corigliano’s Grammy Award-winning work, Mr. Tambourine Man: Seven Poems of Bob Dylan, featuring soprano, Alissa Roca This electrifying collaboration reimagines Dylan’s iconic songs, blending the soul of rock and folk with the symphonic power of wind chamber music.

The Wootton High School Patrons of the Arts is proud to sponsor a Music in Our Schools Benefit Concert, featuring the Capital Wind Symphony, one of the nation’s premier wind ensembles, alongside student musicians from the Thomas Wootton High School cluster.
